On Monday students twice attacked another student on a bus headed to school at Belleville West High School. Here's the bus surveillance video of the attacks and reaction.

If this doesn't show racial prejudice, I don't know what would. The fact that no one but the one student did anything to stop that kids is disgusting. What is wrong with these kids that they think this was ok. What the heck is wrong with the bus driver, he should have pulled over, called the police, the abusers parents and the injured boys parents. If I would have been the driver of that bus, it would have been stopped and we would have waited for the police, I'd have helped the injured kids and testified as a witness for the kid. I hope that batterer goes to jail before he hurts anyone else. But of course, he won't he's black so he's just so misunderstood.

They had no regard for this victim's rights at all. This young man could have been killed, and then what would the driver have said? Shame on the driver.

This is just an outrage. I love how it is not being called a race crime anymore. If a white student attacked black student everyone would being screaming RACE!!!! Now that the tables are turned and a white student was attacked heavens forbid that race was the motive because they are all such "good" kids. i am not saying that race determines whether you are a good kid or a bad kid but it needs to be looked at in the crime. it's a shame to see such actions from our children. i beleive a trip behind the wood shed is the best answer. but our children are told if we look at them wrong all they have to do is call the authorities so in there eyes we are the bad guys. what a messed up soceity

Each person on this bus ought to be sent to juvenile detention for the remainder of their school years, except for the person being beaten for not coming to the aid of a defenseless person. The bus driver ought to be sent to the big house, as well, for being an accomplice by not stopping the violence. Is this what we are teaching our kids? That it is okay to be violent and that we ought to have no consideration for aiding someone? This is the hope for the next generation of leaders in our country? No wonder the global community believes us to be a barbaric country.
